Ocean View Apartment COmplex

Specialised Concrete Products (SCP) was engaged by Scott Construction to deliver the full precast and prestressed concrete package for the Ocean View Apartments development. Completed 2022

This multi-level residential project required structural efficiency, programme certainty, and coordinated installation. SCP provided a fully integrated solution — from manufacture through to transport and cranage — ensuring quality control and buildability at every stage.

Manufacturing & Engineering

All precast and prestressed components were produced in SCP’s controlled manufacturing environment, ensuring tight dimensional tolerances and consistent finish quality.

The precast wall panels formed a key part of the structural and envelope system, designed for efficient erection and integration with the floor structure.

The 4,000m² of prestressed Uni-Span flooring provided long-span capability and reduced on-site propping requirements. Off-site prestressing accelerated the structural programme while delivering durability and structural performance suited to a coastal residential environment.

Precast balconies, columns, and beams were engineered to integrate seamlessly into the overall structural frame, simplifying installation and reducing site complexity.

Installation & Logistics

SCP managed all transport, cranage, and installation activities for the project. This integrated approach delivered:
